Konstpolitiska Evenemanget i Finland 10 november/Finnish Arts Policy Event – Make Arts Policy
Baltic Circle-festivalen ordnar i samarbete med Checkpoint Helsinki och Public Movement-gruppen ett konstevenemang för att väcka debatt om den finländska konst- och kulturpolitikens rådande tillstånd och dess möjliga riktlinjer i framtiden. Konstpolitiska Toppmötet som ordnas den 10. november bjuder in representanter från de politiska partierna för att presentera respektive partiers åsikter om kulturpolitiken inför riksdagsvalet våren 2015.
Baltic Circle festival, together with Checkpoint Helsinki and the Public Movement group, will organize an art event, in which the aim is to encourage discussions about the current state of arts and cultural policy, and its future possibilities. On November 10th, the Make Arts Policy Summit invites representatives of the political parties to lay down their view on cultural policy on the brink of the 2015 elections. Based on the summit, a Make Arts Policy Handbook will be produced, providing an analysis on the current state and future of the Finnish arts and cultural policy. During the Baltic Circle festival, a series of both Finnish and international artists will create commissioned works dealing with the complex relationship between art and politics.
