INTERKULTFEST är en ny scenkonstfestival som presenterar samtida nordiska produktioner med fokus på unga och interkulturell förståelse. Festivalen presenterar föreställningar av och med unga professionella och… amatörer — teater, musik och Mediekonst. Föreställningarna kombinerar olika uttrycksformer och alla behandlar på något sätt mötet mellan människor och kulturer. Under fyra dagar spelas sex föreställningar på Kulturcentret Stoa och Nordhuset. En del av festivalens program sker i kulturcentrens omgivningar och på skolor. På festivalsöndagen invaderar.

INTERKULTFEST on esittävän taiteen festivaali, joka tuo Helsinkiin kiinnostavia, ajassa eläviä pohjoismaisia ryhmiä. Ohjelmassa on nuorten ammattilaisten ja harrastajien esityksiä — teatteria, musiikkia, katutanssia. Esityksissä yhdistyvät erilaiset ilmaisumuodot ja ne käsittelevät tavalla tai toisella kulttuurien ja ihmisten kohtaamisia. Sekä sitä mitä kaikkea siitä voi syntyä!

INTERKULTFEST is a new performing arts festival, which brings interesting and young professional groups, that represent different genres, to Helsinki during 11.-14.9.2014. The program includes performances expressing interculturality and targets the young people. The festival performances take place at the Cultural Centers Stoa and Vuotalo and the festival will spread to the area and schools of Itäkeskus and Vuosaari. On Sunday, the event InterKultYouth takes over Stoa and during the whole afternoon we will enjoy theatre, dance and media art performed by young people from the metropolitan area. The festival is organized by Culture Hub InterKult Kassandra in cooperation with the Cultural Office of the City of Helsinki and its cultural centers Stoa, Vuotalo and Caisa.
